Health is not the goal. It’s the foundation

Let’s talk about health.
Not the beach-body highlight reel.
Not the gym selfies.
Not the “new year, new me” resolutions that fade by February.
I’m talking about the real kind—
the sacred kind.
The kind of health that holds your entire life together.

Because the truth is—
without your health, nothing else works.
Your mind won’t function.
Your spirit won’t shine.
Your purpose won’t move.
And all those dreams you’ve been praying for?
They’ll sit in the corner, untouched…
while your body begs you to slow down,
to get real,
to heal.

This has become personal to me.
As part of my journey, I’m working on getting my health in order.
And I know—deep down—
everything else will fall into place once this part is aligned.
The body is the vessel.
The temple.
The vehicle for vision.
If the foundation is cracked,
you can’t build anything that lasts.

The Bible says in 3 John 1:2:
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth.”
It’s not either/or.
It’s both.
Your soul was never meant to thrive
while your body suffers in silence.

When you care for your health,
your mind gets sharper.
Your emotions stabilize.
Your confidence returns.
Your spirit breathes easier.
Suddenly… things make sense.
The fog lifts.
The weight—literal and emotional—begins to fall away.

And here’s the truth:
You don’t need a fancy routine to start.
You need discipline.
You need commitment.
You need to show up—for you.
Because healing your body isn’t about perfection.
It’s about alignment.

In The Power of Positive Thinking, Norman Vincent Peale said:
“The body is designed to heal itself—when the mind stops interfering.”
And that’s it.
When the mind is clear,
the body responds.
When the soul is in tune,
the body follows.

So this is me, walking it out.
Getting stronger.
Getting lighter.
Getting aligned.
Not just for me—
but for the vision I carry.
For the people I love.
For the mission I’m called to fulfill.
Because health is not the goal.
It’s the foundation.
