Not here. Not anymore.

I used to read the story of Jesus flipping tables in the temple—
and take it at face value.
Righteous anger.
Holy fury.
A warning to the greedy.
But now?
I see something deeper.
The temple isn’t a building.
It’s the body.
It’s you.
And when the Christ awakens within—
everything changes.
You no longer crave the animalistic.
You don’t entertain the same lies.
You don’t sell yourself short.
You flip the tables.
The money changers?
Those are the thoughts that profit off your pain.
The robbers?
They’re the habits that steal your peace.
The livestock?
That’s the base nature—lust, pride, fear—
roaming free in a place meant to be holy.
So what does Jesus do?
He doesn’t negotiate.
He doesn’t rationalize.
He drives them out.
Because when Truth shows up—
anything false has to go.
This is what it means to awaken Christ within.
To recognize that you are the temple—
and the sacred must be protected.
Your body is not a prison.
It’s a vessel.
A sanctuary.
A throne.
And when your spirit rises into alignment,
you begin to clean house.
You stop letting every voice set up shop in your head.
You stop tolerating behaviors that dishonor your soul.
You stop numbing, hiding, and shrinking.
You walk in with authority—
and you say:
“Not here. Not anymore.”
That’s not rebellion.
That’s resurrection.
This is the alchemy.
This is the return.
Not to religion—
but to divine order.
The moment Christ awakens in you,
you don’t just believe differently—
you live differently.
So if your temple feels chaotic…
if you’re surrounded by noise, shame, or addiction…
Maybe it’s time to flip some tables.
Because what’s been robbing your spirit
doesn’t belong in your sanctuary.
Not anymore.
